Boris is an app that was developed by contractors for contractors. We were briefed to helped them with the brand and provided creative marketing support. We created a simple identity, website and powerful marketing video.

The video project was huge and we initially worked collaboratively with the Boris team to write the script for the voice over and once approved went away and developed the storyboard and art direction for the video. As this software eliminates paperwork we decided to base our animation style around paper. The entire animation is crude, is made up of layered paper and rough cutout photographs which disappear at the end of the video. A subtle nod to what the app does.

The app does much more than just eliminate paperwork, it gives users total control of their business. Users are in total control. Boris lets engineer’s record on-site/mobile installations – all from their smart phone/tablet. Users can see real-time tagged photos, Digital marked-up Drawings, Instant pricing of worksheets & Cost and Productivity information to mention just a few items.
