Oh So Food Co is a local artisan start up brand that produces healthy & nourishing breakfast cereals and snack bars. They only ever use locally sourced ingredients, with no refined sugars and no preservatives.

Creating a fun & engaging brand

Frost Creative was briefed to create the brand identity, the brand story, tone of voice and brand packaging that would appeal to their target audience of local cafe owners, delis and restaurants. We took a collaborative approach working closely alongside the founders to structure every part of the brand and ensured we had buy-in at every stage.

Following a creative workshop and market research, we produced the new brand proposition, tone of voice and a visual direction. As part of this, we developed a fun and engaging tone of voice, giving the brand its own personality while making comms impactful, quirky and fresh. Our design approach was focused around the characteristics of an artisan as much as possible with the inclusion of subtle hand drawn elements within a bold visual system, carefully avoiding the cliche over done rustic style many other brands adopt. We wanted the brand to have a fun and lighthearted sense of humour and not be taken too seriously.
