We are very fortunate to have worked with some great brands from within the male grooming sector and this one is no exception. We were tasked with working on the the branding and packaging for Pig Fat Pomades.
The name is a nod to the 60s when pomades were made with bear or pig fats and we used this as inspiration for the logo. We commissioned talented illustrator Rosalind Ingram to create the pigs head that has become the face of the brand. The packaging design is simple with a vintage feel and by applying bold colours we have given the packaging a modern twist.
The core identity is fixed, however when we explored various different types of faces for the pig it became apparent that we could use a different version for the different products types, so we created a series of faces that could be used across the range for products. Our intriguing characters have certainly helped Pig Fat Pomades fly off the shelves.
