Making meals on the move look as good as they taste

When ferry company Red Funnel wanted to refresh its restaurant brand, ReFuel, they turned to us. A team that knows restaurant branding intimately. And has a healthy appetite for exciting new branding projects. Our task was simple: rethink the ReFuel brand to match the company’s planned changes to the menu and on-board food choices.

The ingredients of a refreshed restaurant brand

With a pressured timeline and a very open brief, we worked fast to create multiple concepts for the new ReFuel brand. These included copy-led work, photographic art direction and varied illustrative styles. As a result, we were able to give the ReFuel team a choice of brands to consider, guiding their thinking.

Ultimately, the brand we created was clean and visual. Beautiful photography and video let the food speak for itself. A new ‘Eat Well. Travel Well.’ positioning offered instant consistency across all branded material.

We then implemented the brand across packaging, point of sale, digital posters and print.
