Client:
The Solent Green Deal initiative was launched following the UK Government’s nationwide Green Deal scheme, offering grants and incentives for UK homeowners to improve energy efficiency. Local authorities across the Solent region needed a compelling brand and campaign toolkit to engage residents, landlords, and tenants.

Challenge:
The scheme promised significant economic and environmental benefits: reducing CO2 emissions, tackling fuel poverty, and creating new jobs and apprenticeships. But awareness and understanding were low, and local authorities required a strong, consistent campaign identity to drive uptake.

Solution:
We facilitated workshops with key stakeholders to shape the campaign’s creative direction, delivering a new name, identity, and campaign toolkit. An illustrated landscape featuring Solent landmarks gave the campaign local resonance, while bold visuals and clear messaging made the scheme easy to understand.

Results:

  • 658 enquiries within 4 weeks of launch
  • 138 Green Deal assessments carried out
  • Campaign adopted by 11 local authorities, delivering hundreds of projects that benefitted residents, the economy, and the environment.
