Full-scale brand implementation = award winners & £50M funding

Client:
Wessex Internet builds and operates full fibre networks to deliver ultrafast, reliable internet — even in remote areas — connecting rural communities across the South West of England. Their services support homes, businesses, and regional development through government-backed infrastructure projects.

Challenge:
Wessex Internet had reached an inflection point in their journey and needed a brand identity that would provide longevity to their brand. Given their ambitious plans for the future, continuity and consistency of tone of voice, messaging and visuals were critically important.

Solution:
Having conducted an extensive brand audit and competitor analysis, we defined the new brand’s positioning, purpose and values. Central to this process was ensuring stakeholder alignment and buy-in throughout.

These foundations subsequently helped inform the visual look and feel of the brand, as well as its messaging framework. A more cohesive brand now clearly communicates their ambition, customer-first ethos and supports consistent storytelling across digital and physical touchpoints.

Results:
Wessex Internet have not only now secured £50 million of investment from the National Wealth Fund to expand its full fibre broadband network across the south of England, but have scooped business awards too.

“We have found Frost to be a great creative partner. Work is always delivered on time and to a very high standard.”
